I believe local government should reflect the needs, values, and voices of the people it serves. Right now, too many residents don’t feel like they’re being heard.
I’m running because I’ve seen a real lack of coordination from our elected officials and boards. We need thoughtful leadership that actually listens and leads with transparency, accountability, and planning that serves everyone, not just the loudest or the wealthiest.
I’ve lived in Oswego for over a decade with my wife and our two sons. Like a lot of families in the county, we’re juggling school schedules, work commitments, and trying to stay engaged in our community. In my career, I’ve focused on accountability, creative problem solving, and turning plans into action. I’ll bring that same mindset to the board, but I’m a resident first. I will make sure every decision is evaluated based on how it will impact residents.
If elected, here’s where I’ll focus my time and energy:
- Partnering with school districts to ensure our students and families receive the support they need, especially when it comes to mental health, while keeping costs responsible and sustainable.
- Strengthening our local economy by supporting unions, expanding job training, and investing in workforce development that builds long-term stability.
- Advocating for affordable housing options so no one priced out of the community, whether they’re putting down new roots, or want to stay in the community they’ve helped build.
- Championing transparency and accountability, not just after decisions are made, but before they’re even on the table.
We can grow in a way that respects the needs of developers, supports small business owners, and puts residents at the center of decision-making.
