I believe local government should reflect the people it serves. Right now, too many residents don’t feel heard.
I’m running because I’ve seen a real lack of coordination between our elected officials and our boards. We need leadership that listens, that’s open about how decisions get made, and that plans for everyone in the county, not just for whoever is loudest or wealthiest.
I’ve lived in Oswego for over a decade with my wife and our two sons. Like a lot of families here, we’re juggling school schedules, work, and trying to stay involved in the community. My career has been built on accountability, solving problems creatively, and turning plans into action. I’ll bring that to the board, but I’m a resident first, and I’ll judge every decision by what it does to residents.
If elected, this is where I’ll spend my time:
- Partnering with school districts so our students and families get the support they need, especially with mental health, using shared services to minimize cost to the county and schools.
- Strengthening our local economy by supporting unions, expanding job training, and investing in workforce development that builds long-term stability.
- Advocating for affordable housing options so nobody gets priced out, whether they’re putting down new roots or want to stay in the community they helped build.
- Championing transparency and accountability, before decisions are made, not only after.
We can grow in a way that respects the needs of developers, supports small business owners, and puts residents at the center of decision-making.
